Why Ider?

Ider is my English name, but why would I prefer people to call me Ider?

我的中文名字跟“证件(Zhèng Jiàn)”同音,而“证件”的英文意思是“Identity”。因此我取ID为英文名前缀,然后取er作为后缀以表示我是一个人。同时也表示我期望是个能用自己证明自己的“证人”。

My Chinese name is pronounced the same as “证件(Zhèng Jiàn)”, and in English “证件” means “Identity”. Hence I choose ID as prefix, then pick er as subfix to indicate that I am a person. It also means that I’d like to be a human-ID that can prove myself.
